The rebound from May's 0.92% annual is mostly the return of normal electricity billing in Guayaquil, Manta and Machala after an exceptional compensation ended (Alojamiento/agua/electricidad division contributed 0.3649pp to the monthly rate) plus fuel price adjustments (Transporte 0.2816pp). Ecuador is fully dollarized, so inflation runs low and single months can print negative — this series serves the real number, negative included.
